Show Notes:

If we are in the era of artificial intelligence, drones and robots, finding love online shouldn’t be that difficult! In this episode, I share three apps that claim to help you find love on the interwebs.

Tinder: All you have to do is swipe left or right, and you could find the one of your dreams. Reviews, however, show that Tinder relationships rarely last longer than two weeks. So maybe only sign up on Tinder if you’re looking for a good time, not a long time..

Badoo: Badoo has over 190 countries signed up. Reviews show both negative and positive responses. It’s 50/50 on this one.

Afrointroductions: This is a website specifically for Africans searching for love and has over a million users. We could’t find anyone in our networks who has actually used the web app but we do see good reviews on it.

. . .

For the average African though, it’s more likely that we find love through referrals – through friends of friends, Facebook groups, WhatsApp groups and Twitter hashtags. One good thing about this is that you usually know someone who knows someone who knows this new guy/gal in your life.

So there you have it! 3 apps that connect you with potential love interests. Try Tinder, Badoo and Afrointroductions and share your experiences with us!
